The Claddagh Symbol is made up of a Heart (representing Love), Hands (Friendship) and a Crown (Loyalty). It originated here in Galway back in the 1600s.
Connemara Marble comes from near Clifden about 50 miles from Galway City. It's shades of green is a metaphor for the greens of the Island of Ireland.
